Upper Peninsula Beekeeping Conference March 31

The first of its kind! A conference dedicated to the special challenges of keeping bees in Northern climates. NMU’s Seaborg Center is hosting the event, sponsored by Travel Marquette. The agenda includes practical beekeeping information from the keynote speaker, Charlotte Hubbard, as well as many educational and informative breakout sessions. The conference will have something for everyone, with sessions geared toward both beginners and seasoned beekeepers. There are four tracks to mix and match from; the beginner track, the advanced track, pollinator habitat/needs, and fun stuff (candle, bees wax art, lotions, mead making, etc.). Vendors will be on site to meet all the beekeeping equipment needs of our attendees. Catering will be provided by NMU’s Simply Superior catering.
