GWINN SCHOOL DISTRICT HONORS DISTRICT TEACHER OF THE YEAR
Gwinn, Michigan – At the February 20, 2012 regular meeting of the Board of Education, Gwinn Area Community Schools, Ms. Kimberly VanDrese, Superintendent, presented Mrs. Connie Sather with a plaque honoring her as District “Teacher of the Year”.

- her classroom is organized for her students’ optimum learning experience
- students feel loved and individually appreciated
- she has mastered the ability to run a classroom where students know the routines, are under control and yet having FUN while LEARNING

Mrs. Sather has been employed with the Gwinn Area Community Schools since 1995 and currently teaches 3rd grade at Gilbert Elementary School.
