Fourth and fifth grade students from Lakeview Elementary School in Negaunee will collect donations for UNICEF from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, October 24 in Negaunee, Negaunee Township and Palmer. This year’s theme is “We’re Doing Whatever it Takes to Save a Child.” This year the need is greater than ever due to natural and man-made disasters. Donations to UNICEF help children in need of clean water, health services, food, shelter and clothing. For more information, call Jonelle Collins at 475-9177.
