Marquette – Compassionate Friends, a support group for those who have experienced the loss of a child, will meet on Tuesday, November 11 at 7 p.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church on Fair Avenue in Marquette.
Guest speaker will be Dr. Maggie MacDevitt, a licensed psychologist as well as a bereaved parent. She will speak about how people respond to different causes of death, such as accident, illness or suicide. She will also provide insight on getting “unstuck” and tips on coping with the holidays.
Please bring 3 to 4 photos of your child if you would like them included in a special Power Point presentation to be shown at the December 9 Candlelight program.
