Marquette – Northern Michigan University will host a community environmental forum on Tuesday, October 6 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Pioneer Rooms in the University Center.
The university is exploring the creation of a multi-discipline environmental education institute on campus. Local community groups are encouraged to attend and share their ideas on how such an institute could meet employer needs as well as serve the community at large.
The goal is to develop a center that provides educational, research, and community engagement opportunities for NMU students as well as U.P. citizens and community organizations.
