The West Branch Fitness and Community Center will offer a day camp and open house for Gwinn school students on Friday, October 12, a no-school day. Camp for age kindergarten through 7 will be from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and will feature crafts, games, exercise and hygiene sessions, swimming, movies, story time and more. Cost for members is $3 per child or $8 per family of three or more. Cost for others is $5 and $12, respectively. Parents must register, sign releases and provide children with bag lunches and swimsuits. The open house for age 8 through 12th grade will begin at 10 a.m. The open house is free for members, $2 for a nonmember day pass. To use the weight room, youths must be at least 18 or certified.
