Dr. Walter Brueggemann will offer a workshop on “Biblical Preaching in the Shadow of the Empire” for clergy and lay church workers on Tuesday, October 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church in Marquette. Brueggemann is an author and scholar of the Old Testament/Hebrew Scriptures. The cost is $20 with lunch included, and a reservation is required.
