Stefanie Spielman, three-time breast cancer survivor and wife of retired All-Pro NFL linebacker Chris Spielman, will be the keynote speaker at the second annual In The Pink Celebration of Life luncheon and silent auction, to be held on Saturday, October 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Munising American Legion. At this year’s luncheon the second annual Champ Award winner will be announced. To nominate a special breast cancer survivor, submit a 250-word or less essay explaining why the survivor should receive this year’s award. Submission deadline is October 5. Luncheon tickets cost $35 and are available in Munising at Sydney’s Restaurant, Peoples State Bank, and the Falling Rock Cafe; in Marquette at The Coffee Cup, and in Escanaba at Bras That Fit.
