The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will present a workshop “From the Ground Up:Starting Your Own Garden” on Wednesday, February 27 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. in the Arts and Culture Center Workshop #4 at the Peter White Public Library. Learn to start your own seeds, prepare a seed bedd, plant seeds and seedlings and keep your garden fertile with compost. Wear casual clothes for hands-on learning. Registration deadline is Friday, February 22. Call Will Huggard at 228-2316. The cost is $4 for NCLL members, $7 for nonmembers.
