The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will host “The 4,600-Mile North Country Scenic Trail: Its Story and a Little Hike” on Thursday, February 21 from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.in room 101-B at the Superior Dome in Marquette. Lorana Jinkerson of the North Country Trail Hikers will be the presenter. After a presentation about the trail and the activities of the NCTH, there will be a two hour hike on the trail. Participants can choose skiing, snowshoeing or hiking, depending on weather conditions, and should choose appropriate clothing for the event. the cost is $4 for NCLL members and $7 for all others.
