The Birchview Elementary School in Ishpeming, in conjunction with the A.B.C. Parent Group will be holding it's annual “First Day Activities” on Wednesday, August 29 from 6 to 8 p.m. Students and their families will be given an opportunity to visit their classrooms and meet their teachers. Also included in the evenings activities will be several displays from community organizations, community safety programs, and school transportation. Ice cream will be served by the Ishpeming School Board members. For more information, call 485-6341.
