Rotary Club of Ishpeming Announces Evening of Romance February 10th

Ishpeming, MI – The Rotary Club of Ishpeming announced their annual fundraiser designed to support the mission of Rotary and the club’s ability to give back to the surrounding community and provide a positive impact.

The 34th annual An Evening of Romance will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the Great Lakes Rooms on the campus of Northern Michigan University. The event consists of a buffet-style dinner and dance. A live and silent auction will enable attendees to help support the club and bid on local baskets, excursions and sports memorabilia.

“Our club is so excited to share this event with the community and raise funds that enable us to support a variety of local activities,” said Lance Peterson, President of the Rotary Club of Ishpeming. “This past year, our club performed many hours of community service which is in line with our Rotary motto “Service Above Self.” Throughout the year, our club donated funds to many different organizations within our area. We invite everyone to come out for a wonderful evening and help support the mission of Rotary.”

Tickets are $75 each and are available now at the following locations: The Lake Superior Community Partnership in Marquette, U.S. Ski & Snowboard Hall of Fame in Ishpeming, Greater Ishpeming-Negaunee Chamber of Commerce in Ishpeming or by contacting any Rotary Club of Ishpeming Rotarian. Funds raised during the event support the charitable works of the Rotary Club of Ishpeming.
