Calendar – Films/Documentaries – Modern Classics to Screen “Milk” – Feb. 15

Marquette – Modern Classics Film Series will offer a free screening of “Milk” on Thursday, February 15 at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.

Using flashbacks and archival footing, this movie follows Harvey Milk’s life as a gay rights activist from his 40th birthday until his death. The 2008 biography/drama, starring Sean Penn, Josh Brolin and Emile Hirsch, is rated R and runs 128 minutes.
