Marquette – The Peter White Public Library Book Group will meet to discuss “Underground Railroad” by Colson Whitehead on Tuesday, February 6 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Dandelion Cottage Room of the library.
In this novel, coming into womanhood as a slave on a Georgia plantation, Cora decides it’s time to escape, so with Caesar, a new slave from Virginia, she goes in search of the underground railroad.
