Families and area youth can ring in 2008 family style at the Bell Memorial YMCA, 205 Iron Street in Negaunee on Monday, December 31 from 11 a.m.to 1 p.m. and join the Y at a discount. During the New Years Eve youth party, the YMCA will be offering a special membership giveaway. The public is also invited to enjoy a Noon Countdown, complete with a balloon drop and confetti Everyone is encouraged to get glamorous for a day of celebration and enjoy music, dancing, goodie bags, games, snacks and more. The event is free for the whole family.
