Families and area youth can ring in 2008 family style at the YMCA in Marquette. The public is invited to enjoy a Youth Bash on Monday, December 31 from 11 a.m to 1 p.m. with a Noon Countdown, complete with a balloon drop, goodie bags and confetti. Everyone is encouraged to get glamorous for a day of celebration and enjoy music, dancing, games, snacks and more. This event is free for the whole family. Other activities for those 12 and older include a group exercise demonstration of the Y’s new ZUMBA Dance class at 1 p.m. lead by Gina Wilson and the YMCA will be offering a special membership giveaway.
