Marquette -Marquette Alger Resolution Service (MARS) will offer a 48-hour Domestic Relations Mediator Training over the course of 6 days, Monday, October 30 through Wednesday, November 1 and Monday, November 6 through Wednesday, November 8 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day at Northern Michigan University.
This training program is designed to teach participants the skills necessary to act as mediators in facilitating the resolution of both community and domestic relations disputes. Through a combination of role plays, demonstrations, large group discussions, and activities, this highly interactive training will take participants through the entire mediation process. This training is approved by the State Court Administrative Office- MCR 3.216.
The cost for the training is $75 per person. Attendees must commit to attending all 48-hours of the program and commit to volunteering their skills at Marquette Alger Resolution Services to receive the training certificate.
