Marquette – Northern Michigan University’s International Education Week (IEW) will present Vardar Zafar of Lahore, Pakistan, who will discuss Pakistani weddings and the people who have inspired her in reaching her goals on Friday, November 14 at 1:15 p.m. in Jamrich room 1318.
Zafar is attending NMU for the fall semester as an exchange student sponsored by the International Research and Exchanges Board.
IEW is a joint initiative of the U.S. Departments of State and Education to recognize the benefits of international education and exchange. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact the NMU international programs office at 227-2510.
