Calendar – Education – NCLL Discussion “Immigration: A 21st Century Challenge” Registration Deadline – Nov. 26

Marquette – The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will host a discussion titled “Immigration: A 21st Century Challenge” on Thursday, December 3 at 7 p.m. in Superior Dome 101-B on the campus of Northern Michigan University.

The event will explore the legal, religious and educational aspects of immigration. A three-person panel will lead the presentation: Jim Garland, a retired bishop; Martha Jennings, an immigration attorney; and Angela Maki from NMU’s international programs office. There will be time for questions afterward.

The cost is $3 for NCLL members and $8 for non-members. Register before November 27 by calling 227-2979.
