Houghton – The Michigan Tech Archival Speaker Series will present the history of tuberculosis in the Upper Great Lakes region in a program, with visiting scholar Jennifer Gunn, on Thursday, November 17 at 6 p.m. in the East Reading Room of the Van Pelt and Opie Library on the Michigan Tech University campus.
Gunn’s presentation will focus on the impact of the disease on the historic Keweenaw copper mining district.
