Marquette – The NMU Hospitality Gala, a celebration focusing on local food, farmers, chefs, and students, will be held on Saturday, September 23 from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Marquette Commons on South Third Street in downtown Marquette.
This will be the Upper Peninsula’s first Certified Local Food Event. An event that is a Certified Local Food Event means it is committed to sustainability. The NMU Hospitality Gala will have well over the base requirement with almost all of the event’s food coming from local farms.
