Houghton, Michigan – College Factual’s 2018 Best Colleges report ranked Michigan Tech 3rd in Michigan and in the top 20 percent of 1,383 colleges and universities evaluated nationwide.
Michigan Technological University ranked 3rd among 39 Michigan colleges and universities in College Factual’s 2018 Best Colleges list. College Factual is a website that evaluates the quality of education and cost of colleges and universities and the majors they offer.
It also ranked several majors at Michigan Tech in the top 20 percent across the country. Among those majors, mechanical engineering-engineering mechanics ranked in the top 5 percent; chemical engineering and forestry in the top 6 percent; environmental engineering and computer engineering in the top 15 percent and electrical engineering in the top 20 percent.
