Harbor Fest Coming to Marquette’s Lower Harbor! – August 25th & 26th

HARBOR FEST Coming to Marquette’s Lower Harbor Park August 25 & 26

$25,000 is the number. This month, Marquette West Rotary gave $25,000 to 38 local U.P. Charities. This $25,000 was raised at last year’s HARBORFEST and is now being put to good use in the community. Over the 34 years, Marquette West Rotary has been hosting a festival at Mattson Lower Harbor Park and has provided over $700,000 in charitable giving.

HARBORFEST is the last FREE hurrah each summer at Lower Harbor Park and the festival is free to the public due to the generous support of our Major and Business Supporters. This FREE festival is August 25th & 26th for all in the U.P. to visit and enjoy. Friday night’s High-Energy Funk & Soul headliner BUMPUS comes from Chicago and Saturday evening’s entertainment is America’s Best Led Zeppelin Tribute Band – Kashmir whom will rock the stage from 8:30 till 11 pm.

Kids of all ages are invited to play in the bouncy house, see vintage cars, boats, and canoes, and tour the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter. There’s a corn hole tournament on Saturday with practice on Friday night (available to adults over 21 ONLY). Numerous food vendors will be there and proceeds on craft beer, wine & hard cider will be used to support charitable donations given by Marquette West Rotary in Marquette County over the next year.
