Marquette – The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will host a hike on the North Country National Scenic Trail on Tuesday, May 9 from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. beginning at the Marquette Welcome Center on U.S. 41 South in Marquette.
Lorana Jinkerson, president of the local NCT Hikers chapter, will lead the 3.5-mile walk to Lion’s Club Field in Marquette Township where the Iron Ore Heritage Trail has a trailhead. The new U.P. Land Conservancy Bayou Project will also be included.
