Calendar – Films/Documentaries – “Fences” Film Screening – Apr. 18

Marquette – Northern Michigan University’s 2017 Diversity Common Reader selection is “Citizen: An American Lyric” by Claudia Rankine. A screening of the film “Fences” will be shown on Tuesday, April 18 at 12:30 and 6 p.m. at the Peter White Public Library.

In this film, an African American father struggles with race relations in the United States while trying to raise his family in the 1950s and coming to terms with the events of his life. The event is free and open to the public.
