Diabetes Workshop coming to Ishpeming – 4/24/17

Ishpeming, MIApril 23, 2017 – The Diabetes PATH (Personal Action Towards Health) workshop is returning to UP Health System-Bell Hospital beginning on April 24th. The workshop helps people living with daily challenges of diabetes, learn skills and tools needed to improve their health and manage their symptoms.  Subjects covered include: symptoms of diabetes, stress, managing fatigue and emotional problems, exercise, healthy eating, medications, and working with health care providers.

The six week class will meet on Monday evenings, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. beginning on April 24th.  Pre registration is required- family and caregivers are welcome.   There is no cost to attend.   Please call Erin Carter at 906-369-4572 to register.  For more information, visit www.upcap.org.
