Marquette – A Pearl Restringing Class, to benefit The Women’s Center, will be offered on Thursday, March 23 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Wattsson and Wattson Jewelers, 118 W. Washington Street in downtown Marquette.
The class, instructed by Chris Wattsson, will teach both knotted and unknotted stringing styles. Participants will receive equipment that can be taken home, including stringing trays, string for 18″ pearl strands, clasps and plastic pearl beads to practice with.
All proceeds will be donated to the Women’s Center, who supports victims/survivors of domestic and sexual violence in Marquette and Alger Counties.
