MarquetteThe Marquette County Humane Society will have a booth at the Downtown Marquette Farmers and Artists Market grand opening on Saturday, June 26 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Marquette Commons.
Humane society cookbooks will be on sale, and visitors will receive free gifts while supplies last and may vote for the pet photos to be featured in the humane society’s 2011 calendar. These offers are good through Sunday and apply to pets at the shelter as well as those at the farmers market.
The MCHS will offer a 50 discount on all cat kitten adoptions through June 30. A variety of cats and kittens are available. In addition, dog and cat adopters will receive free goodie bags. For information, visit www.upaws.org or call 475-6661
