Marquette – The Marquette Astronomical Society will present “What’s Out There? Observing the Moon” on Wednesday, March 15 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
This program, presented by Scott Stobbelaar, will cover when and where to find the Moon and once you have found it, what features to look for whether you are using binoculars or the library loan scope or a larger scope. Topics covered will be: phases of the Moon, craters, maria, moon maps, observing techniques. Be sure to bring your questions.
