Calendar – Education – Black History Month Public Lecture “Is the U.S. Criminal Justice System Racist?” – Feb. 23

Marquette – Carter Wilson, head of Northern Michigan University’s Political Science Department, will present the lecture “Is the U.S. Criminal Justice System Racist?” on Thursday, February 23 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in 1322 Jamrich Hall on the campus of Northern Michigan University.

Wilson will review the scholarly literature on race and the justice system and let the audience reach its own conclusion. The public lecture is part of Black History Month.
