Marquette – The Community Foundation of Marquette County invites the public to The Blind Groundhog Craft Beer Sampling on Friday, February 3 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Marquette Regional History Center in Marquette.
Guests will enjoy “blind” samples of brews selected by UP brewers including Ore Dock Brewing Company, Blackrocks Brewery, Upper Hand Brewery, and Keweenaw Brewing Company. After sampling an array of the best that UP brewers have to offer, guests can vote for their favorite in three categories: Pale Ales, Seasonal, and Brewers’ Choice.
At the end of the evening, each of the brews will be revealed and the “Crowd Favorite” in each of the three categories will receive an award. A beer from “downstate” will be hidden among the samples, and guests will be encouraged to try to spot “The Troll Beer.” Food will be served and non-alcoholic drinks will be available.
The Blind Groundhog Craft Beer Sampling is a fundraiser for The Community Foundation of Marquette County which provides grants to local non-profits. Tickets are $50 for samplers and $15 for designated drivers and are
