Marquette/Negaunee/Ishpeming – Marquette Alternative High School, Marquette Senior High School, Bothwell Middle School, Graveraet School, Nice Community Schools, Westwood High School, Negaunee High School, Ishpeming High School, North Star Academy, NMU Student Social Work Organization, UP Catholic Credit Union (all 3 branches) Select Realty of Marquette, Wattsson and Wattsson Jewelers and Swick Home Services are teaming up to “Rock the Socks” from Monday, December 5 through Friday, December 9 throughout the local area.
The goal for this event is to collect socks for the homeless and less fortunate in our community. Socks can be dropped off at all the schools and businesses listed. Socks collected will be donated to places like St. Vincent DePauls, Janzen House, The Women’s Center, Harbor House, Room at the Inn, and more.
