Marquette – A Benefit for Jack Reynolds will be held on Sunday, January 29 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the American Legion, 700 W. Bluff Street in Marquette.
Jack Reynolds has coached baseball in our community for over 40 years from T-ball to adult fast-pitch and still serves on the board for the Marquette Blues Legion Baseball League. In the spring of 2015 he had a kidney transplant requiring him to travel to U of M Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan for pre-transplant appointments, testing and surgery even having to stay in a hotel for six weeks post-surgery due to continued medical care. Still to this day, his medications costs over $1,000 a month which are needed to prevent kidney rejection.
In a couple of weeks, Jack will be having open-heart surgery at U of M Hospital. This too will cause a lengthy stay in Ann Arbor with great expense. The extensive medical costs have exhausted his means. Please help Jack face this new challenge. For more information on the benefit, call Cindi Slattery at 458-2818
