Calendar – Films/Documentaries – Matinee Movie to Screen “Mr. Church” – Dec. 20

Marquette – Matinee Movie Series will offer a free screening of “Mr. Church” on Tuesday, December 20 at 12:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.

Starring Eddie Murphy and Britt Robertson, the film is based on the true story of a unique friendship that develops when a little girl and her dying mother retain the services of a talented cook, Henry Joseph Church. What begins as a six-month arragement instead spans into fifteen years and creates a family bond that lasts forever.

The 2016 drama is rated PG-13 and runs for 104 minutes. Viewers are encouraged to bring their own meal or snacks to enjoy the film in a dinner theater style setting.
