Marquette, MichiganNovember 8, 2016 – The Marquette Regional History Center presents: How to Think Like an Agate Wednesday, November 9— 6:30 p.m. at MRHC Karen “Agatelady” Brzys from the Gitche Gumee Agate & History Museum and author of Agates Inside Out and Understanding and Finding Agates, will talk about the geologic history of the U.P. and describe how agates are formed. Learn hunting tips for finding agates. Book signing and specimen sale will follow the talk. Bring a specimen in for identification. $5 suggested donation.
