Marquette, Michigan – October 6th, 2016 – The Innovate Marquette SmartZone in partnership with 40 Below Marquette Young Professionals and the Innovation Shore Angel Network invites our community to the screening of a ground-breaking and inspiring documentary film by Charu Sharma featuring the wisdom of top women entrepreneurs who share their stories of building a business from scratch, taking risks and being resilient.
Will you dare to be an entrepreneur? “Go Against the Flow is more than a documentary film,” says Charu Sharma. “It’s a movement that aims to inspire women to take intelligent risks, trust their vision and develop leadership skills.” As part of the movement Charu brings together the wisdom of top women entrepreneurs who are making their mark in fields ranging from medical technology to video games. They include the female co-founders of Cloudflare, Getaround, Mightybell, Kabam, Zady, Zlnepak, Women Who Code, Remedy and Rockhealth. These women range from college dropouts to Harvard MBAs to Shark Tank winners.
