Marquette – Northern Michigan University’s Siril Endowment for the Music Arts will offer screenings of the Royal Opera’s two complementary works, “Cavalleria rusticana” by Pietro Mascagni and “Pagliacci” by Ruggero Leoncavallo on Sunday, October 16 at 5 p.m. in 1100 Jamrich Hall on the NMU Campus.
Both, filmed in London, tell dark tales of passionate love that sours to violent jealousy. They will be projected in high definition in Jamrich Hall’s state-of-the-art auditorium.
The performance is free for NMU students with ID and $15 for adults.
