Escanaba – The Great Pumpkin Parade, the kick-off for the Marine Corps “Toys for Tots” Program, will be held on Saturday, October 1 beginning at the Escanaba Library and ending on 16th Street in Escanaba.
All by-standers watching the parade and everyone in the parade is asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy. Costumed walkers will collect the toys to be given to underprivileged children at Christmas.
If you would like to participate in the parade, all motorcycles, floats, antique cars, tractors, groups and walkers are welcome. Wear a Halloween costume and line up at 11 a.m.
