Marquette – As part of the Kraft Hockeyville celebration, Friends of Lakeview Arena will host a Marquette Hockeyville Red Carpet Gala on Saturday, October 1 from 5:30 to 11 p.m. at the Marquette Commons on South Third Street in downtown Marquette.
Enjoy a semi-formal outdoor event featuring an elegant tented atmosphere and red carpet welcome. The ticket price of $133 per person includes hors d’oeuvres, a plated surf and turf dinner, featured desserts by Joe’s Cakes from Huron Mountain Bakery, beer and wine, live music performed by Trailer Hitch, silent and live auctions and more. Guest speakers will be Dallas Drake, former NMU and Detroit Red Wings hockey player and Brad May, former Buffalo Sabre. Tickets can be purchased at https://www.eventbrite.com.
This is a fundraising effort to help support additional improvements needed at Lakeview Arena and Junior Hockey in the Marquette community. There will be a VIP after-party at the 906 Sports Bar, 145 West Washington Street, for those attending the gala.
