Judith Krause and Lorna Hanks, members of the National Alliance on Mental Illness/Alger-Marquette affiliate, have completed the NAMI “Homefront” training in Lansing, and will offer a class every Thursday for 6 weeks starting on October 6 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at 129 West Baraga Avenue, Marquette.
NAMI “Homefront” is a free education program for families, friends and significant others of military service members and veterans with mental health conditions. It focuses on the unique needs of military and veteran communities, such as post-deployment and post-discharge. Each weekly session lasts 2 ½ hours. The class will provide instructional material, discussions and interactive exercises
