Calendar – Sports – U.S. Ski Hall of Fame Ribbon Cutting – Sept. 16

Ishpeming – Join the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame and the Greater Ishpeming-Negaunee Area Chamber of Commerce for a Ribbon Cutting on Friday, September 16 at 4:30 p.m. in front of the Hall of Fame in Ishpeming.

The Ribbon Cutting will mark the unveiling of the new “Passion to Fly” ski jumper statue. Following the ribbon cutting, there will be a cocktail reception beginning at 5 p.m., a complimentary dinner at 6 p.m. and the Hall of Fame Enshrinement Ceremony will follow dinner from 7 to 9 p.m.

This is a free event! Although the dinner is complimentary, for non-Ski Hall patrons, suggested donations are appreciated, but not mandatory.
