Humpboldt – The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will host a tour of the Humboldt Ore Processing Mill, formerly utilized by Cleveland Cliffs Iron, on Friday, August 5 from 8 a.m. to noon in Humboldt.
The mill had numerous occupants until 2006, when it was purchased by Rio Tinto. Ore processing began again in 2014 after a $275 million investment to bring the historic mill back into operation.
