Calendar – Theater – Westwood Shakespeare Company to Present “Julius Ceasar” – Aug. 23-25

Marquette – Westwood Shakespeare Company will present Shakespeare’s “Julius Ceasar” Tuesday, August 23 through Thursday, August 25 at 7:30 p.m. each evening at the Frazier Boathouse/Lake Superior Theater on Lakeshore Boulevard in Marquette.

This production of “Julius Caesar” will be anything but traditional. Evoking the mood and feel of film noir, this production is set in a time where gangs ruled the city and Tommy Guns spoke louder than words. From fireworks at Chicago’s Navy Pier to a 2.5 mile short film walk along the river Thames.

Reserved seating is available by phone 227-1032, online through NMU EZ Tickets https://tickets.nmu.edu and in person at NMU Ticketing outlets.
