L’Anse – UPCAP’s Michigan Medicare/Medicaid Assistance Program will offer a free seminar to help folks new to Medicare understand their benefits and choices on Wednesday, August 24 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 16 South 6th Street in L’Anse.
The seminar is targeted towards folks that will be eligible for Medicare sometime within the next six months. Learn the basics of Medicare and what folks should be thinking about when making decisions on their Medicare choices.
There is no charge to attend this informational event and a helpful workbook will be provided to each participant. Registration is required by calling 1-800-803-7174, or by simply dialing 2-1-1 and indicating your wish to register for the “Welcome to Medicare” event in L’Anse on August 24.
