The Marquette Regional History Center presents: The Amazing Bike Path Tour – June 22nd

Marquette, Michigan – Wednesday, June 22—6:00 p.m. meet at MRHC

A group bike ride with Jim Koski around Marquette’s bike path system, starting and ending at the History Center with over a dozen stops, visiting everything from old lumber mills and railroad yards to a one-time city dump.

You’ll here stories of a few interesting individuals , and find out just why the bike path follows the route that it does. See clues to Marquette’s history you may have ridden by and never noticed! Oh…and you may also catch a glimpse of what may be the oldest existing sauna in the City of Marquette.

Bring your bike and be prepared for a 6-8 mile ride. $5 suggested donation. Please visit marquettehistory.org or call 906-226-3571 for more info.
