Marquette – A BYO Dinner Theater with a screening of “The Revenant” will be held on Tuesday, May 17 at 6 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
The film is about a frontiersman on a fur trading expedition in the 1820’s fighting for survival after being mauled by a bear and left for dead by members of his own hunting team.
The screenplay is based is based in part on the novel by Michael Punke which was inspired by the experiences of frontiersman Hugh Glass in 1823, in what is now Montana and South Dakota.
“The Revenant” is rated R, and runs for 156 minutes.
Viewers are welcome to bring their own takeout meal to enjoy in the dinner theater setting.
