Calendar – Films/Documentaries – “All the King’s Men” Film Screening – June 3

Marquette – Afternoon Classic Films will present a screening of “All the King’s Men” on Monday, June 3 at 1:30 pm in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.

“All the King’s Men” is said to be based on the career of outspoken U.S. senator, Huey Long. The film follows the rise and fall of a corrupt politician, who makes his friends richer and retains power by the force a populist appeal. The film runs for 109 minutes and will be shown in the original black and white.
