Marquette – A Scandinavian Dinner will he held on Tuesday, May 10 in the Great Lakes Rooms of the University Center on the campus of Northern Michigan University Marquette.
The event begins with a cocktail reception with a cash bar at 6 p.m. Dinner, which includes wines paired with each course, begins at 6:30 p.m. Upper Peninsula Folklife Awards will be presented after the entree course. Musical entertain will be provided by the Thimbleberry Band.
Tickets are $75 per person ($35 will be recognized as a charitable contribution) and is a fundraiser for the Beaumier U.P. Heritage Center programing fund and the American Culinary Federation Upper Michigan Chapter Scholarship at NMU.
