Peter White Public Library invites film fans to a BYO Dinner Theater event on Thursday, February 4 for a screening of “Jurassic World” at 6:00pm in the library’s Community room.
“Jurassic World” is set in a new theme park that is built on the original site of Jurassic Park, off the coast of Costa Rica. The luxury resort provides a habitat for an array of genetically engineered dinosaurs, including the vicious and intelligent Indominus rex. When the massive creature escapes, it sets off a chain reaction that causes chaos. Now, it’s up to a former military man and animal expert, played by Chris Pratt, to use his special skills to save two young brothers and the rest of the tourists from an all-out, prehistoric assault.
This sequel to the 1993 science fiction/adventure film, “Jurassic Park” also stars Bryce Dallas Howard, was released in U.S. theaters in June 2015, is rated PG-13 and runs for 124minutes.
Viewers are welcome to bring their own takeout meal to enjoy in a dinner theater setting.
There is no admission charge thanks to sponsorship by the Friends of the Peter White Public Library. For more information visit www.pwpl.info or call 226-4318.
