Marquette, MI – October 15, 2014 – The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will offer a tour of Lakestate Industries on Wednesday, Oct. 15. The Marquette non-profit agency helps people recognize their abilities, overcome obstacles and find support for reaching higher levels of employment and community involvement.
The tour will cover LSI programs, products and services. It will be held from 12:30-2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, in LSI’s headquarters at 1500 Hwy. M-28 E (the former Marquette Meats building). The cost is $3 for NCLL members and $8 for non-members. Call the NCLL office at 227-2979 to register before the Oct. 10 deadline.
Those attending are asked to bring used toilet rolls and old candle wax as materials for the workers to recycle into fire starters.
